Day 1: Classroom theory & practical training

1:5 Minimum / 1:15 Maximum

1. Participants must be 18 years of age
2. Provide two forms of identity for enrolment paperwork
   (Drivers licence, Medicare, Passport, Birth Cert etc.)
3. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
4. Be proficient in English

• Identify any areas where participants may need
  additional support
• Minimum written and /or oral English level

To train participants to work safely in the construction industry in line with WorkSafe licenceing requirements. 

At successful completion of this course a Statement of Attainment will be issued to students, reflecting the National unit of competency achieved.
Training conducted in this course aligns to the new Worksafe Safety Requirements for
undertaking construction work which came into effect on 1 July 2008
