Designed for individuals who wish to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to obtain National Competency as a Heavy Machinery Operator.

This program consists of comprehensive theory and practical training and assessment and meets the requirements of National Competency Standards.

    1. Participants must be 18 years of age
    2. Provide two forms of identity for enrolment paperwork
      (Drivers licence, Medicare, Passport, Birth Cert etc.)
    3. Wear appropriate clothing and footwear
    4. Be proficient in English
    • Identify any areas where participants may need
      additional support
    • Minimum written and /or oral English level

Students will be trained to operate Heavy Machinery in a safe and effective manner, in accordance with WHS obligations and manufacturers guidelines.  

CERTIFICATION

At successful completion of this course a Statement of Attainment will be issued to students, reflecting the National unit of competency achieved.
